Interstate 17 Closed Due To Incident

Description: Closed due to disabled vehicle (vehicle fire).
Location: On Interstate 17, Northbound from mile post 258.0, 4.50 miles South of SR 69.
Duration: Fourth of July 4, 2013 from 11:44 A.M. to 1:44 P.M. MST.
Details: ADOT (ArizonaDOT) tweet says traffic backup is 6 miles.

[Update] Traffic is a stand still at Sunset point. Mile marker 252, according to a tweet by Garry Cahal (‏@gcahal).

[Update 12:55 PM MST] ADOT PIO Tim Tait tweets that the northbound left lane is now open. Right lane still blocked. Tweeting Tait says it will take a long time to clear the backup.

[Update 1:11 PM MST] Northbound backup is now 10 miles, from milepost 258 to 248, according to ADOT PIO Tim Tait.

[Final Update 2:30 PM MST] All lanes have reopened. Backup is about 10 miles long. Will take time to clear, according to a tweet by ADOT PIO Tim Tait (ArizonaDOT).
