Car bicycle collision reported at McDowell Rd and Granite Reef Rd in Scottsdale, AZ.
Details: Scottsdale Fire Department officials in an email tell us that an elderly female bicycle rider was involved in a collision with a single vehicle. She was transported as an immediate by PMT Ambulance with significant injuries to Scottsdale Osborn hospital.
Scottsdale Traffic Management Center officials tell us that the intersection is closed in all directions. SPD on twitter says that Granite Reef and McDowell will be closed through rush hour.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by the Scottsdale Police Department.
