Hazardous Materials Accident - 8400 E Rancho Vista Drive

Hazardous materials accident reported in the 8400 block of East Rancho Vista Drive in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Units responding and on scene include: E603, BC601, SCTP00 and SWG000.

Details: SFD officials tell us in an email that Scottsdale Fire Department crews are on scene of a single vehicle that made contact with a residential Southwest Gas meter (SWG). Crews have secured the leak. Two homes have been evacuated until SWG confirms no readings of pocketed gas below ground. No injuries reported.
